Courses at a glanceLicensing FundamentalsThis entry level course is aimed at giving a grounding in the various types of licensing schemes operated by major software vendors and a fundamental understanding of the complex area of Microsoft SQL, Windows and Virtualisation.
Advanced Licensing ConceptsThese courses are designed to give an understanding of the more technical aspects of licensing for developer environments, thin clients and the virtual environment. Also looks at how server builds impact licensing.
Software Licensing in the Virtual Environment
We will look in depth at virtualisation principles and licesning servers in the virtual environment as well as Extended Use Rights for Windows & SQL Servers. We wil also look at virtual PC's including VECD and Microsofts Desktop Optimisation Pack. We will help you to understand how to manage licenses within the virtual environment in the most cost effective way.
Web based courses
We offer a series of Licensing Fundamentals courses based on a 2 hour web session. They provide a basic grounding for license purchasing and management. They give you an overview of the latest licensing schemes operated by major software vendors, and a basic understanding of the complex issues surrounding server and operating system licensing.
